What am I Doing Here?

Not every word out of my mouth is a gem. Not everything I think of is worth sending off to cyberspace. But some times, those few words are as cathartic as the letter we write to an ex and never send, or the pile of things we threw out even if we liked them.
So I'll put my thoughts down here because I don't put them down anywhere else. And if anyone else is reading this, bear with me while I use the words to distract the tears, and indulge in self absorption for a few minutes during the day.
The first, original post, is the inspiration for the title of this blog, as it stands now. I expect this to be a work in progress, for better or worse.
So thanks for indulging me.
